Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 July 2026

These terms cover your use of TradeHands. By signing up or using the site, you agree to them. Please read them — they're short and in plain English.

1. What TradeHands is

TradeHands is an introductions network for tradies in Australia. We help tradies find and contact each other. We are not a party to any job, agreement or payment between tradies, we are not your employer, and we don't supervise, direct or guarantee anyone's work.

2. You arrange your own work

Any job you take on or offer through TradeHands is strictly between you and the other tradie. You are responsible for agreeing the scope, price, timing, safety, insurance and payment directly with them. Always check the other party's licences, insurance and references before starting work.

3. Your details must be accurate

4. Fair use

Use TradeHands respectfully. Don't use it to spam, harass, scam or post unlawful, misleading or offensive content, and don't try to break, scrape or misuse the site. We may remove listings or suspend access if these terms are broken.

5. Fees

TradeHands is free to join while we're in testing. In future, staying listed may require a small flat subscription fee, which we'll make clear before you're ever charged. We don't take a commission on your jobs.

6. No guarantees

We provide TradeHands "as is". We don't guarantee you'll find work or a tradie, that listings are accurate, or that the service will always be available or error-free. We don't vet, endorse or take responsibility for any tradie, their conduct or their work.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TradeHands isn't liable for any loss, damage, dispute or injury arising from jobs arranged through the site or from your use of it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as TradeHands grows. We'll change the "last updated" date above when we do, and continuing to use the site means you accept the changes.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
